Denim Vest w/Silk Skirting

This began with a thrifted denim vest which I spot bleached for more contrast. The back of the vest features a silk patch created from vintage silk sarees. To the vest I added on pieces of silk saree scarves left over from another project. Hem is left raw so it can be cut if the buyer wants it shorter. More patches added on the front of the vest and fringed denim, which i created as a funky detail, along with the painting of XOs, heat set for longevity. Because of the nature of the fabric, dry cleaning is the only method of cleaning, if needed.
